Dr. Mazen Tinawi

Doctor of Dental Surgery

Dr. Tinawi has practiced family dentistry for more than 30 years. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry and has made dental implant treatment a central focus of his clinical work throughout his career.

In addition to caring for his own patients, Dr. Tinawi teaches implant techniques to dentists nationally and internationally and leads advanced training programs for dental professionals. His teaching is grounded in the same methods and clinical experience he brings to patients each week.

Dr. Tinawi welcomes patients at Midland Family Dentistry in Kearny.

Dr. Tasneem Shaltout

Doctor of Dental Medicine

Dr. Shaltout is a general dentist committed to helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident about their oral health. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and provides comprehensive preventive, restorative, and cosmetic care.

She believes excellent dentistry begins with listening. Her approach is calm and thoughtful, allowing time to understand each patient’s concerns, explain her findings, and walk through treatment options clearly. Her goal is for every patient to leave feeling heard, cared for, and more knowledgeable about their smile.

Outside the office, Dr. Shaltout enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying active through hiking and other outdoor activities, and traveling to experience new places.
